MetaCalc.in is operated by METACALC, a proprietorship registered under the Government of India's Udyam (MSME) scheme (Udyam Registration No: UDYAM-BR-28-0058765), with its registered address at Gram Khurahuriya, Post Devkhaira, Rohtas, Bihar – 821115, India. In these terms, "we", "us" and "MetaCalc.in" refer to METACALC.

1. Disclaimer

1.1 Calculators Are for Estimation Only

The calculators and data on MetaCalc.in are strictly for general estimation and educational purposes. Theoretical weight often differs from actual scale weight due to manufacturing tolerances, material variations and surface finishes.

Steel mills operate with positive rolling tolerances per applicable Indian Standards — typically +5% to +10% for ERW pipes (IS 1239), up to +12.5% for seamless pipes (ASTM A106 / IS 3589), and +2.5% to +5% for plates and sheets (IS 2062). The actual product will almost always weigh slightly more than the theoretical value shown.

1.2 No Professional Liability

The information here should not be the sole basis for critical structural engineering calculations, final cost estimation, purchasing decisions or safety-critical design. Always consult a certified structural engineer and the applicable BIS publications for critical applications.

1.3 Limitation of Liability

MetaCalc.in, its owner and developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, losses or expenses arising from the use of, or inability to use, our calculators, data or platform. Use of this website is entirely at your own risk.

1.4 Not a Steel Seller — We Are a Connector

MetaCalc.in does not manufacture, sell, supply, distribute or deal in any metals, steel products, pipes, plates, bars or raw materials. Where we connect buyers with sellers, we act only as a connector. The commercial transaction — price, payment, quality, quantity and delivery — is agreed and carried out directly between the buyer and the seller. MetaCalc.in is not a party to that transaction and is not responsible for it.

2.1 What We Collect

Our calculators need no login and run locally in your browser — those inputs are not stored. Our buyer and seller features do collect personal data: buyer name, phone, location and requirement; seller account, business and wallet activity; and payment details including UPI reference (UTR) and payer UPI ID. We also keep a record of each buyer verification.

2.2 How We Share It

A buyer's details go only to the verified sellers we match them to (maximum three per requirement). We use WhatsApp (Meta) for payment confirmation, verification and support, plus hosting and UPI payment providers to operate. We never sell or trade your data for marketing.

2.3 Cookies & Analytics

We may use Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which use cookies. You can control cookies in your browser; the calculators will still work. See the full Privacy Policy for opt-out links.

3. Terms of Use

3.1 Acceptance

By accessing or using MetaCalc.in, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

3.2 Permitted Use

You may use MetaCalc.in for personal, educational and commercial estimation. You may share links to our pages. You may not scrape, copy or reproduce our content, calculators or data tables for other websites or apps without prior written permission.

3.3 Buyers

Posting a requirement is free for buyers. We verify your requirement (by phone or WhatsApp) and share your details only with up to three verified sellers. You deal, negotiate and pay the seller directly; we are not involved in that transaction.

3.4 Sellers & Lead Unlocks

Sellers register free and receive a set number of free lead unlocks. After that, each lead shows its exact unlock price before you pay, which you pay via UPI and confirm on WhatsApp; our team then verifies and unlocks it. The unlock fee pays for access to a verified, reachable buyer at the time of unlock — not for a guaranteed sale. We take no commission on your sales and do not guarantee conversions.

3.5 Refunds

Unlock fees are non-refundable once a lead is unlocked while open, except in the limited cases set out in our Return & Refund Policy (for example, a lead that was already closed when you paid, or invalid/uncontactable buyer details raised within the stated review window). Approved refunds are issued as wallet credit by default, or to your original payment method where a credit is not suitable. The Refund Policy governs in full.

3.6 Intellectual Property

All content on MetaCalc.in — text, calculators, code, design, weight charts and data tables — is the intellectual property of METACALC unless otherwise stated. Standard industry formulas (such as D²/162, π/4 × D² × L × ρ) are not claimed as proprietary.

3.7 External Links

MetaCalc.in may link to external websites for reference. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or accuracy, and linking does not imply endorsement.

3.8 Modifications

We may update these terms, the privacy policy and the disclaimer at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

3.9 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Rohtas, Bihar, India.
